The PARADIGM
Most people are not going after what they want.
Even some of the most serious goal seekers and goal setters,
they’re going after what they think they can get.

Most people live their lives in a state where they truly want one thing yet spend most of their time working for another thing.
They spend almost 70-90 percent of their life doing the work they least enjoy.
They are never really happy, never financially independent, and never completely healthy.
They want to have a better life, they even know how they can get it, but still most of them never really make it through and enjoy the good that life has to offer.
Why is that so?
The answer is- that they are the victims of their own thinking; they use their mind to create a mental prison for themselves, and this mental prison is so elusive that they don’t even know that they are in this Prison, and as long as they are in this mental prison they cannot create a better life.
My mentor ‘Bob Proctor’ calls this mental prison ‘the PARADIGM’.
In order for you to create a greater version of your life, you must free yourself from the mental prison; you must shift your PARADIGM.
MENTAL PROGRAMMING
When we begin our journey of personal development and we start learning about our mental powers and potential, it’s exciting in the beginning and it feels like everything is really easy.
Then a time comes when we set a big goal for ourselves and start working on it.
When we begin working on our goal and start applying the principles we have learned; something inside us starts to mess with our mental process and we begin to feel uncomfortable.
That’s exactly when the old mental programming kicks in.
All of a sudden, our mind begins to give us all the reasons why can’t we achieve our goal, we start hearing voices like- this is too hard, it’s not for you, you have so much work to do, it doesn’t feel right, you don’t need to do this right now, etc.
Now, if we start paying attention to these voices & doubts, they start to become stronger in the mind and bring even stronger reason until they eventually convince us that we don’t have to work on this new goal.
When this happens, most people give up their goals & desires; and runs back to their comfort zone because they don’t feel comfortable in the unknown part of the process of change, and they don’t even know what’s causing this instability in their brain and body.
It happens because of the mental programs that have been installed in their mind consciously and unconsciously throughout their journey.
From birth to this point every one of us has been exposed to a number of belief systems, opinions, experiences, victories, failures, love, hate, betrayal, etc. which set up the boundaries of our performance.
A collection of those ideas has been fixed in our subconscious mind, and it is like a computer program which runs in a loop and controls our everyday behaviors.
This programming of our mind control our thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and results; and it is called ‘the Paradigm’
What are Paradigms?
Every one of us has a mental program that is installed in our subconscious mind.
This programming of our mind controls almost all of our thoughts, feelings, and actions.
Whenever you would try to change your programming, which means whenever you would try to do something new and better, the old programming of your subconscious mind would try to pull you back, and it would start giving you all the valid reasons to justify your position or standards of your life.
These mental programs that have almost exclusive control over our habitual behavior are like an operating system on which our mental process runs.
Now, consider your mind like a computer and understand this- Just like every computer has a program through which it operates, your mind also has a program in it through which it operates, and that program in your mind determines the quality of your life.
The good news is that you have the ability to change that program whenever you are willing to, and as you change this program, the quality of your life will change itself.
This change is what we refer to as a “PARADIGM SHIFT”
The Process of Paradigm Shift
The paradigm has been created through the repetition of a certain type of thoughts, feelings, and actions for a long period of time.
Think of the time when you were about to do something, for the first time, that was really important to you, you were afraid of failing and that fear caused you to doubt your ability to do what you already knew how to do.
You got emotionally involved with that fear, and when it came to performing the real task, you weren’t able to do it in a way that could bring the success you desired.
And, when you failed the fear was gone, now the sadness took over, and you spend some or a lot of your time being sad about it.
Understand this- that negative emotion of fear and sadness branded your subconscious mind to your past.
So whenever you went through the same conditions again your mind automatically generated the emotion of fear and sadness again, and when it happened a number of times it becomes part of your programming.
In the same manner, every one of us has been branded by a number of emotions that we experienced in the past, which created our belief system, and we can only operate within the boundaries of that belief system.
Now, when you set a new goal, the information that you have regarding the goal goes through your belief system or paradigm and if it is consistent within the boundaries of your belief system you don’t feel any difficulty with this new goal.
However, when it is outside the boundaries of your belief system you attract all the reasons and conditions that would try to convince you that you can’t do it.
You have a conscious mind with which you create new ideas, you think, you reason, you make decisions, you learn, you understand, etc.
But!
The conscious mind is not the part of your personality which controls your feelings, experiences, behaviors, and results.
It’s your subconscious mind that controls the results of your life, which you want to improve, and your paradigm is locked up in the subconscious mind.
Think of the paradigm as an object you hold in front of a mirror and the results you are getting in your life as the reflection of that object in the mirror.
Now, trying to change your results without changing the paradigm is exactly like trying to change the reflection of an object in the mirror without changing the object.
It doesn’t matter how hard or how long you try, you will never succeed in doing so because that’s not how reality works.
In order to change the results that you are getting in your life, your paradigm must change, there is no other way.
How to Change the Paradigm?
The paradigm was built by the repetition of certain thoughts and feelings for a long period of time.
As paradigm is locked in the subconscious mind, you have to give your subconscious mind new and improved thoughts and feelings for a certain period of time until these new thoughts and feelings become the dominating part of your subconscious mind.
The Subconscious mind is also the part of our personality through which the omnipresent universal powers express itself in our life.
The amazing thing about the subconscious mind is that it can do so many amazing things but it cannot distinguish between a real event and an imaginary event.
For example- if you start learning some new sport, when you practice it, your subconscious mind would take the information & experience and install it in your brain and body to prepare you for the game. On the other hand, when you just practice it in your mind and imagine as you are doing it in the field, it will still take it as you are really doing it and it would make more connection between neurons in the brain to prepare your brain and body for the game.
Meditation Helps!
Now, come to the results you want, the process of meditation allows you to slow down your brain waves which allow you to make the inner imaginary experience more real than anything.
When you have a clear vision of what you really want, and you know where your current programming (paradigm) is, then every time you visualize yourself already in possession of the thing you want you are adding the new energy to your belief system, and if you keep doing it over and over again, the energy of your old paradigm will slowly vanish and your vision will become your new paradigm, and with a new paradigm everything that is part of this new paradigm will start to flow into your life.
To do this properly, find yourself a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed.
Sit in a relaxed state, put some meditation music on, close your eyes, free your mind from any thought, and let the energy freely flow to and through you.
Then imagine yourself already in possession of everything you desire, doing the things you would like to do, spending your time with the person you wanna spend with, being happy, healthy, and completely in love with your life.
Send gratitude for this new life of yours.
Do it every day for as long as you can, for as many times as you can.
When you would do so, your subconscious mind would take it as you are living this life because it cannot differentiate between a real event and an event you are creating in your mind by thoughts alone, and it would start to prepare your brain and body for this new experience, which would cause old programming of your mind to vanish and it would put you in a brand new vibration.
With this new vibration, you would attract every necessary means to manifest your vision into your physical reality.
Understand that changing your Paradigm is a process, it doesn’t happen in one go, you have to make a commitment to be involved in it until your new life starts to unfold itself in your physical reality.
Get a Mentor
Another thing to understand is that it’s really hard to do it without a really good Mentor who can give you the proper information and instruction.
To change your paradigm you must have the proper information and you must be willing to follow the instructions.
Our world is going through chaos right now, and there is a big threat to Humans in the form of the Coronavirus.
So, in these difficult times, the fear caused us to think all sorts of confused and negative thoughts, which instead of helping us put us in more danger.
